Dalit girlfriend filed SC-ST act on UC boy, Court grants bail after reading Whatsapp chat

Jabalpur(Madhya Pradesh, India): The SC-ST court (MP) has granted bail to a 24-year-old man who was booked under the case of rape and the SC-ST act. The accused was in jail since June 30. 

Justice Sunil Jain took into account the fact that the complainant and the accused were in a relationship for the last 5 years. Also, the complainant was old enough to think about her wrong or right. 

The court also took note of the WhatsApp chat filed by the accused youth, in which the close relationship between the two could be seen. Also, on many occasions, money was also being demanded by the girl to her personal bank account. 

Advocate Harshpal Verma, who appeared for the accused, said that the girl had a five-year-old love affair with the accused, for which he has shown the copies of WhatsApp chat and dozens of photos. 

Harshpal told the court that when the accused stopped giving money to the girl, She implicated him in a false case. 

“Taking into consideration the facts and love relationship between the complainant and accused, the bail application is granted”, the court said in its order.
