Yogi to unveil statue of Mihir Bhoj in Gurjar populated Dadri

Dadri(UP, India): In a move to lock the Gurjar votes, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is planning to unveil the statue of emperor Mihir Bhoj at Mihir Bhoj Post Graduate College in Dadri.

Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar said that the Chief Minister will reach the district on the evening of September 21 and will stay overnight at Gautam Buddha University. On September 22, at 10 o’clock in the morning, the statue of Emperor Mihir Bhoj will be unveiled in the college. After this program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will leave for Dhaulana.

A large number of Gurjar leaders and activists from across the state will also attend the event. However, the Rajput community who is claiming Mihir Bhoj as a Rajput emperor is not happy over the decision of Yogi Adityanath.

Western Uttar Pradesh is considered to be a Jat and Gurjar dominated area and Dadri is known to be the capital of Gurjar votes.

Yogi to pay his first visit to Dadri

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has visited Noida and Greater Noida many times after assuming the command of the state, but he has not come to Dadri in the last four and a half years. This will be his first program in Dadri. Earlier, Kalyan Singh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mayawati and Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna had held public meetings as Chief Ministers in Dadri.
