‘Genocide calls made to kill Brahmins’, ClubHouse audio goes viral

Bengaluru: A clubhouse video is doing rounds on social media where a man can be seen advocating the genocides of the Brahmins.

In the video, the man identified as Adavayya Matapathi was speaking during a session on the Clubhouse app, where people interact in groups via audio.

This comes after several people recorded the discussion and shared it online, raising objections to comments allegedly made by the participants.

In the recording, he can be heard saying that his intentions are to destroy the entire Brahmin community in Karnataka. Also, he confessed that he is born to massacre the entire brahmin community.

“Try to understand, I am not any big leader, I simply created a group, 227 people joined the group. Tomorrow I will create a nice group … I will create a dhamaka in your city..village…place… my intentions are to destroy the entire Brahmin community in Karnataka.. the 2% brahmin community which is existing in Karnataka, I am born to massacre them. Do whatever you want, try to destroy me if u want motherf**kers”, Matapathi said in his derogatory speech.

“I was drunk, I apologize”

After the video has gone viral, the man has apologized for his comments. In his clarification on Twitter, he said that he was there to speak on some other issue.

“Please, I’m sorry I went out to talk about something I was drunk on. I apologize to them. Please don’t put this here and don’t disturb my personal life”, Matapathi issued an apology on his Twitter handle.
