To appease Brahmin, BJP to hold Prabuddh Sammelan in 403 seats

Lucknow(UP, India): In a move to diffuse the efforts of BSP, BJP is all set to kick on its outreach programme from 5 September. The outreach programme will target the Brahmins of the state who constitute more than 13 per cent of the voting population.

The proposed programme ‘Prabuddh Varg Sammelan’ in its first phase will be carried out from 5 September to 20 September.

Where rival parties like SP and BSP is directly targeting the Brahmin votes and speaking for their rights, BJP seems shy in accepting those things.

Moreover, In-charge of Prabuddh Sammelan and general secretary of UP BJP, Subhrat Pathak said that it is mainly meant to connect intellectual classes who may happen to be from any caste.

Yogi’s role

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has been given the task to drive the programme from Varanasi where he would try to appease the Brahmins.
