Haryana(India): A 40 years old Brahmin man has been burnt to death by the demonstrators participating in the Farmers protest. The incident took place at the outskirts of a Brahmin majority village Kasar in the Jhajjar district of Haryana.
As per details received by our team, the deceased man has been identified as Mukesh Sharma. As usual, he went for the evening walk from his village. Mukesh reached the spot where the protestors were sitting and had drunk alcohol with them. After which, over the discussions of Brahmins’ participation in the protests, four men had set Mukesh on fire.
The sarpanch of the village has confirmed to Neo Politico that the deceased man was killed over the participation of Brahmins in the protests.
“The Main accused Krishna was saying that the Brahmins of your village are not participating in the protest. For the last 6 months nor your participation has been seen. Mukesh was killed because they want a sacrifice from the Brahmins for the protest”, Sarpanch Tony Kumar told Neo Politico.
Rishu Kumar, the district president of VHP, said that a total of four accused were involved in the incident. The main accused Krishna hails from Jind and was angry over the less participation of Brahmins. In a viral video, the accused was claiming that from his own district not a single Brahmin has participated. Only two communities, Jat and Sikh, are actively participating in the protests. Krishna was upset and wanted to kill a Brahmin for the sake of protest.
Police have nabbed the main accused Krishna and a search for three other accused are going on.
