New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu held a telephone conversation on Thursday, reviewing the growing India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership while exchanging views on the evolving security situation in West Asia. The discussion marked the second interaction between the two leaders since the outbreak of the ongoing regional conflict on February 28.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the two leaders assessed the sustained progress made under the India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors for mutual benefit. India and Israel have significantly strengthened their ties over the past decade, with cooperation spanning defence, agriculture, innovation, water management, cybersecurity, trade and advanced technology.
