Adani Group to Distribute Maha Prasad to 50 lakh Devotees Daily at Maha Kumbh in Collaboration with ISKCON

Prayagraj: The upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela, scheduled to take place between February 13 and 26, 2025, in Prayagraj, is set to witness an extraordinary act of service. The Adani Group, in collaboration with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), has announced a massive initiative to provide free food to 50 lakh devotees every day.

The initiative, titled ‘Maha Prasad Seva,’ aims to ensure that devotees attending the spiritual gathering are offered nutritious meals as part of the group’s charitable contribution. This remarkable service will continue throughout the Maha Kumbh Mela, cementing its place as one of the largest food distribution drives in the world.

To execute this ambitious plan, food will be prepared in two mega kitchens – one within the fairgrounds and the other outside it. The Maha Prasad will then be distributed at 40 designated locations across the Maha Kumbh area, ensuring accessibility to devotees from all walks of life. Around 2,500 volunteers will be deployed to facilitate the smooth operation of the service.

Adani Group Chairman, Gautam Adani, shared the details of this initiative on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday. He described the Maha Kumbh as a sacred event where “every hand automatically gets involved in charity.”

Expressing his sentiments, Adani stated, “Kumbh is that holy land of service where every act of giving becomes a spiritual offering. It is my privilege to start the ‘Mahaprasad Seva’ for the millions of devotees attending Maha Kumbh, with the blessings of Maa Annapurna.”

Adani also highlighted his interaction with Guru Prasad Swami Ji of ISKCON, whose dedication to service he found deeply inspiring. “Service is sadhana, service is prayer, and service is God,” he remarked, emphasizing the spiritual essence behind this initiative.

This initiative is expected to provide not only physical nourishment but also spiritual fulfillment to the millions attending the Maha Kumbh, reinforcing the message of unity, service, and devotion.

The Maha Kumbh Mela is the world’s largest spiritual gathering, drawing millions of pilgrims who seek to cleanse their sins by bathing in the sacred rivers. The event holds immense cultural and religious significance, symbolizing faith, devotion, and collective spirituality.

The Adani Group’s Maha Prasad Seva aligns with the spirit of the Maha Kumbh, offering an exemplary model of corporate social responsibility. By feeding millions, this initiative aims to embody the essence of selfless service while creating a lasting impact on the hearts of devotees.
