Jaipur: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Assistant Professor (Chemistry) recruitment has drawn attention after all 11 posts reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates in the selection list went to candidates from the Meena community.
The provisional appointment order, issued by the Directorate of College Education, Rajasthan, Jaipur, dated August 7, 2026, relates to candidates selected for the post of Assistant Professor in Chemistry in government colleges across Rajasthan.
The 11 ST-category candidates listed in the order are Neetu Meena, Rahul Meena, Kamlesh Meena, Ashwini Meena, Mahesh Meena, Vinod Kumar Meena, Kavita Meena, Shobha Meena, Priyanka Jorwal (Meena), Rajesh Kumar Meena and Divya Meena.
Thus, according to the names and category details mentioned in the official appointment order, all posts reserved for ST candidates went to members of the Meena community.
The selected candidates have been appointed on a two-year probation period, subject to document verification, medical fitness and other prescribed conditions. The order directs them to join their respective posts by August 29, 2026.
The appointment order also states that the candidates will be governed by applicable Rajasthan government service rules during their tenure.
