Sidhi: Tensions flared in Amilia village of Sidhi district during an Ambedkar Jayanti rally, as reports of violence, stone-pelting, and vandalism emerged, leaving multiple people injured and the area on edge.

According to local accounts, the incident began shortly after a rally procession moved through the main market area. It is alleged that a dispute was triggered when a vehicle reportedly honked to seek passage, which led to an altercation between participants of the rally and individuals in the vehicle.

Eyewitnesses claim that a group of around 50 individuals, some reportedly masked, gathered outside a residence and began vandalizing a Bolero vehicle parked there. The situation escalated when the group allegedly entered the house and assaulted members of the family. Mani Shukla (22) sustained serious injuries, while Ramakant Shukla (80), Archana Shukla (40), and Divyansh Shukla (22) were also reported injured.
