BJP worker attacked with blades and sharp weapons, accused belongs to radical Dalit group

Cuddalore(Tamil Nadu): BJP’s OBC wing deputy leader Babu has been brutally slashed by the alleged goons of the VCK party at Vadalur Panruti Road in Cuddalore. Babu who is a BJP worker was going to his home when three-four people had attacked him with sharp weapons.

As per details, at around 8 pm on Saturday on Vadalur Panruti Road, as Babu unloaded some hay and took his two-wheeler, he heard some noise in the roadside shop. He went there to know the cause but was brutally attacked by the accused. Babu got serious deep wounds where one of his hands is almost amputated.

“I went there but the three youth who was identifying them as the worker of the VCK party had started yelling at me. They said that they were looking for me as I am working for BJP. They attacked me till I got fainted”

Accused vandalized Babu’s shop

Babu’s friend while speaking to the media has said that the shop which was vandalized in the attack belongs to Babu. He is running a small shop and has a 7 months old son.

The BJP high command has taken note of the incident and also visited the hospital to know about the well-being of Babu. BJP assured the local unit that sufficient action will be taken to ensure justice.
