#NupurRow: Bajrang Dal member brutally stabbed by 6 Muslims in Saharanpur

Saharanpur: A member of the Bajrang Dal has been stabbed brutally by 6 Muslims for allegedly posting pro hindu content on social media. Prashant Saini, a resident of Datoli village, was stabbed by Alishan, Aman Idrish and 5 others when he went to pick up two kids from a school situated at the Chilkana road which comes under Kotwali Dehat police station limits.

Victim has supported Nupur Sharma on social media

Prashant Saini is known for his work for the Bajrang Dal. He is an active member of the organization and had openly supported Nupur Sharma’s statement on many social media platforms. It has been alleged by the organization that he was attacked due to his work for the Hindu religion. However, the Sharanpur police have rejected the involvement of Nupur’s angle.

An FIR under IPC 147, 148, 149, and 307 has been registered against the accused.

One Accused Nabbed

Aman Idrish was arrested by the police within a few hours of the attack. His companion Alishan is on the run and can not be traced till the news was written. The police has announced a bounty of ten thousand rupees on the other accused.
