Siwan: A 22-year-old youth was killed by three youths belonging to a Dalit organization Bhima Army in the Siwan district of Bihar. The incident took place in Repura {which consists of 12.89 % of Schedule Caste (SC) while 4.67 % of Schedule Tribe (ST) of total population} village where four Dalit youths took away Siddharth Singh from his home at around 7 pm on 21 April. After which at around 8:30 pm, the deceased had nervously telephoned the neighbour that he was encircled by Dinesh Ram, Sumant Ram, Sumit Ram and Amit Ram along with other companions. Immediately after receiving the information, there was a stir among the family members.
They started searching for their son in nearby areas and when they did not find Siddharth overnight, the family informed the police. On the same day, the body of Siddharth was recovered from a well, the father has named FIR against the four youths. According to the father, his son was killed because of his caste.
Hatred against Upper Caste
Surya Bhan Singh, the father of the deceased told us that the killers are connected to the Bhim Army. They used to abuse his son for not speaking Jai Bhim. They continuously bully him and forced him to say Jai Bhim. Due to his Rajput caste, his son was killed by a young man from the Dalit community. Surya Bhan Singh had two sons. Since the death of the elder son, the family members have been in a terrifying situation.

The villagers told Neo Politico that all the accused bully villagers in the name of Bhim wave. There used to be dissent about the same thing between the deceased and the accused. After which he was brutally murdered by them.
Post mortem report says that the victim died due to strangulation. According to the police, one accused Dinesh Ram has been arrested so far and a search is going on to nab the other 3 killers.
